| Background: | The El Paso County District Clerk's Office currently utilizes an image storage and retrieval system called Revert in order to store a number of criminal and civil case images that were imported from other sources. As courts move more toward the use of electronic files inside of the courtroom, it has become unwieldy for the courts to depend on District Clerk personnel to provide images from the Revert system, sometimes causing significant delays during court sessions. The Revert Image Conversion Project will consist of two phased tasks:
1) Extraction of all images from the Revert system, which will require that an extract program be written by an IT software developer; and
2) Conversion of the images into Odyssey case files, which will require 184 hours of conversion effort by Tyler Technologies (see attached agreement)
This will make the images that were previously stored in Revert readily available to the Courts, saving significant amounts of time and effort for the Courts and District Clerk personnel.
Legal review was required and has been completed by the County Attorney’s Office on December 12, 2018.
Once Purchase Order has been converted and released by Purchasing the agreement will be considered executed.
