| Background: | The Jury Duty Court reassessed its staffing upon the retirement of one of its bailiffs and determined that it had a greater need for administrative assistance. The goal of this change is to better manage the flow of paperwork and cases through the Jury Duty Court, which may allow the court to handle a higher overall caseload once the new personnel are fully trained.
By replacing the Bailiff (Certified) position (GS27/$96,975) with two Assistant Case Managers (GS12/$42,632), the Budget Office anticipates this will create an annual savings in salary and benefits of $11,572.90 for FY19. |
