| Background: | CISD previously received School Resource Officers from the Sheriff’s Office as part of the Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) grant. The COPS grant expired and CISD entered into an interlocal agreement with the County for the Sheriff's Office to provide 8 School Resource Officers for the 2018-2019 school year. CISD has requested additional School Resource Officers.
Clint ISD will be paying an additional $135,625 for three additional SROs. This brings the total contract amount to $755,625. |
