| Subject: | Approve and authorize an increase to the change fund at the Sports Park from $1,000 to $5,000, to better serve park users during tournaments and special events as approved by the Chief Administrator or designee. In accordance with Local Government Code 130.902, the County Auditor concurs. |
| Background: | With the newly added Sports Park Pro Shop and the increase in Tournaments a substantial change fund of ($3,000 or more) for the pro shop operations and entry fees is needed.
The specific Tournament or Special Events amount up to $5,000 will require the approval of the Chief Administrator or designee and will require a form similar form to the one attached that is currently used for the Ascarate Park Front Gate Change Fund Request.The Division looks to continue expanding sports programs, large-scale Tournaments and Special event opportunities and this change will help with the operations.
