| Background: | As part of the Action Agenda for Fiscal Year 2017-18 and Management in Progress Item # 7, the Heritage Tourism Division was instructed to develop "Heritage Tourism Advertisements" including the "1st Advertisement." This first advertisement promotes the Mission Trail Region as a tourist destination. The video features County owned assets and the Public Works Department transit route. Video will be was unveiled during the Mission Trail Comprehensive Masterplan Public Design Charrette November 13. The Commercial will be broadcast digitally and on cable television during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
The Video Production and Distribution Services Contract with Spectrum Reach (Contract No. 2018-0795) was approved on November 5, 2018. The budget presented in the amount of $8,250 was for the three agreements but both advertising agreements were not identified in the item. We are seeking approval of the supplemental Contracts 2018-0757 and 2018-0633. |
