Item Title:Planning & Development-Route 50 Reporting Tool Update

Subject:Approve and authorize the County Judge to sign Task Order No. 8 with the Texas Transportation Institute (TTI) in order to bring the reporting tool up-to-date for Route 50 Mission Trail in the amount of $17,557.  Funding is available in GF-EPCMP-PROF SVC-GEN.  (Contract No. 2018-0821)
Background:The Mission Trail, Route 50 is a commuter bus route in the County that serves the Lower Valley providing service to the City of El Paso, Socorro and San Elizario. This is a project that is funded by Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) program. As such, it requires that a monthly air quality report be submitted to the state. The County requires this tool in order to continue with the monthly reports as required by Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and to remain eligible for Federal Assistance under the CMAQ program.

Recommendation:Approve and authorize the County Judge to sign Task Order No. 8 with the Texas Transportation Institute (TTI) in order to bring the reporting tool up-to-date for Route 50 Mission Trail in the amount of $17,557.  Funding is available in GF-EPCMP-PROF SVC-GEN.  (Contract No. 2018-0821)
Prior Action:

On April 3, 2017, (Item 3I)-Commissioners Court approve and authorize the County Judge to sign Task Order No. 4 with the Texas Transportation Institute (TTI) in order to bring the reporting tool up-to-date for Route 50 Mission Trail.

 

On November 30, 2015 Item 12- Commissioners Court approved Task Order No. 1 with the Texas Transportation Institute (TTI) for the development of a Route 50 Mission Trail Report.
