| Subject: | Approve and authorize the Domestic Relations Office to apply to the FY 2019 Office of Violence Against Women Justice for Families Program grant in the amount of $550,000 for a period of three years with no County match required. Further, authorize the County Judge to sign the Letter of Intent as a requirement of the funding agency. |
| Background: | The DRO will use funding to provide a safe environment for parents with supervised visitation with their children when domestic violence and/or protecitve orders are involved. A sheriff deputy will be hired for security purposes and the DRO is seeking a non-profit agency to partner with. |
