Subject: | Approve amendment No. 07 to the County of El Paso’s 2018-2019 operating budget.
This budgetary amendment will not increase or decrease the County of El Paso’s 2018-2019 overall operating budget of $433,336,033.39. |
Background: | To include statutory requirement, operational impact, or performance goal.
The County budget is being amended in accordance with Texas Local Government Code §111.0415.
Budget amendment is necessary:

To transfer appropriations from the County Criminal Court at Law No. 2 to the Council of Judges department to properly allocate funding to the department that will be processing the DPS blood/alcohol testing invoices.

To transfer appropriations from the Council of Judges and various District Courts to the 409th District Court to cover the cost for overtime expenses for the sequestering of a jury.

To transfer appropriations from the Office of Criminal Justice Coordination and within the General and Administrative account to cover the cost for the Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute agreement contract (2018-0673) as approved by CC item #10 on 11/19/18.

To transfer appropriations within the Road and Bridge department to cover the cost to purchase a plotter.
