| Background: | The Information Technology Department (ITD) manages and maintains six (6) independent telephone systems located at various locations throughout the County of El Paso (County Courthouse, Sheriff’s Office, Juvenile Probation Department, Northwest Annex, Ascarate Annex, and Eastside Annex). These systems have been previously supported by “software only” agreements through the manufacture.
The age of these systems has prompted ITD to request hardware & software maintenance/support to ensure continuity of each of these telephone systems. Continuant Managed Services offers this combined service at a 40% discounted cost of the manufactures quote for a one (1) full year term. This support provides for; 1) secure real-time alarm monitoring, 2) technical support 24/7/365, 3) preventative maintenance and 4) advanced hardware replacement.
Legal review was required and has been completed by the County Attorney’s Office on November 19, 2018.
Once Purchase Order has been converted and released by Purchasing the agreement will be considered executed. |
