(Contract No. 2018-0746) | | Background: | In accordance with policy and licensure requirements, the Sheriff’s Office is required to conduct both pre-employment tests as well as fit-for-duty examinations for the candidates and employees.
In 2016, the El Paso County Commissioners Court approved a contract with Dr. Feldman - Psychological Services for the purpose of performing these examinations in compliance with state, federal and agency requirements as specified using certified and/or licensed testing methods recognized and endorsed by profession, effective August 01, 2016 until July 31, 2017.
This agreement was renewed from August 1, 2017, through July 31, 2018. In June of 2018, an extension was awarded on a month-to-month basis up to November 30, 2018 while the RFP process was conducted.
RFP # 18-035 was approved and awarded to Integrity EAP d.b.a WellConnect to provide psychological services for pre-employment as well as fit-for-duty examinations at the Sheriff’s Office.
This new agreement will be for a two year term from 12/01/2018 -11/30/2020 and the agreement may be extended with two (2) one-year annual extension options, not to exceed four (4) total contract years, and only by amendment of this agreement.

7/09/18 - Item #3F: Commissioners Court approved to extend the contract with Dr. Feldman - Psychological Services on a month-to-month basis from July 31, 2018 to November 30, 2018.
