Subject:Discuss and take appropriate action for a variance request from the County of El Paso Subdivision Regulations for Painted Desert at Mission Ridge 3.
Background:

The developer/property owner is requesting a variance of the subdivision regulations of El Paso County, Texas.

  • Variance from a 60 foot wide street right-of-way to a 54 foot wide street right-of-way.  The 54 foot street will consist of two 5 foot parkways, two 5 foot side concrete sidewalks and a 34 foot wide pavement structure.

  • Variance on yard setbacks :

  1. 5 foot yard side setback (10 foot side setback when abutting a street);

  2. 20 foot rear yard setback; and

  3. 20 foot front yard setback.
