The Information Technology Department (ITD) administers the software infrastructure that provides County employees with access to the majority of technology based solutions. VMware’s vRealize Operations provides management tools for handling performance and implementation challenges for virtual implementations. Using data collected from system resources the software identifies issues in any monitored system component, and suggests corrective actions for a proactive problem solving operation.
ITD seeks to renew this agreement from the reseller of this software (Sequel Data Systems Incorporated). This agreement allows for the continued maintenance, update of the software which is utilized by the County of El Paso.
Sequel Data Systems is the provider with pricing through the State of Texas DIR contract DIR-TSO-3926 for a one year term from November 1, 2018 to October 31, 2019.
Legal review was required and has been completed by the County Attorney’s Office on 10/24/2018. Form 1295 provided.
Contingent upon the funding allocation in MUNIS, this item will be requisitioned for fiscal year 2019. Once Purchase Order has been converted and released by Purchasing the agreement will be considered executed.
