| Background: | Votec Corporation provides the maintenance support and licensing for the VEMACS software utilized by the County Elections Department to manage the elections records and maintain compliance. This software serves as a repository for all the County voter records and facilitates the registration process necessary to the elections management process.
The Information Technology Department (ITD) is solely responsible for the administration of VEMACS licensing agreement. ITD does not provide support for the data or software for the Elections Department. This agreement is for a 12 month term and provides periodic updates and all technical support needed to keep this software operational. Current licensing must be maintained to allow continued use of these applications.
Legal review was required and was completed by the County Attorney’s Office on September 26, 2018.
Contingent upon funding allocation in MUNIS, this item will be requisitioned on October 1st. Once approved, Purchase Order will be sent to Vendor finalizing this agreement. |
