| Subject: | Approve and authorize the Purchasing Agent to solicit proposals for Congregate and Home Delivered Meals for the City-County Nutrition Program. In accordance with Local Government Code 262.030, the Purchasing Agent has reviewed use of the Request for Proposal (RFP) process. |
| Background: | The County is seeking a qualified vendor to prepare, package and deliver approximately 2,400 congregate and home delivered daily meals to persons sixty (60) years of age and over and to persons with disabilities.
The Purchasing Department will request specifications be reviewed by the Auditor’s and County Attorney’s offices and receive approval to proceed. |
