Item Title:JPD - 2018-0575 Southwest Polygraph Option to renew

Subject:Approve and authorize the County Judge to sign the First Exercise of Option to Renew Agreement with Southwest Polygraph for polygraph examination services for the El Paso County Juvenile Probation Department.  This will extend the term of services through November 30, 2019.  Funding is available in account SR-JPDSUP-PROF SVC-GEN.  (Contract No. 2018-0575)
Background:

The contract currently is on an annual renewal, with two 1 year options to renew.  This County is exercising their first option to renew.

 

Contractor shall require its paid and unpaid personnel who are required or allowed to provide services pursuant to any agreement entered into with the Juvenile Probation Department to execute a Texas Law Enforcement Telecommunications System(TlETS)/National Crime Information Center (NCIC) records check, in order to allow the Juvenile Probation Department to perform the criminal records check and Sex offender background check, as well as Sex Offender Background search through the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Fiscal Impact:

Estimated Annual Fiscal Impact = $5,000
