| Background: | The County currently provides mental health services to County inmates housed at the Downtown Detention Center and the Jail Annex through an Interlocal agreement with Emergence Health Network (EHN). This Amendment will extend the Interlocal Agreement with EHN to October 31, 2019. The agreement also clarifies some state and federal standards language, replaces and clarifies required reports based on the Electronic Medical Records capabilities, and clarifies EHN's responsibility for continuity of care with inmates released from the detention system. |
| Fiscal Impact: | This contract will cost a total of $1,539,634 for FY2019 This cost is an increase of 2.1% based on the Medical CPI indicator for the southwest region for the prior year.
