| Background: | General Assistance, a unit of the Community Services Department has managed the federally mandated coordinated assessment system for the El Paso Continuum of Care since it's inception in 2015. In 2016, in its capacity as the coordinated assessment operator, the County applied for and received a Coordinated Assessment grant project to expand the community's coordinated assessment system for those individuals entering homelessness. The Coordinated Assessment grant was awarded to the County in 2017. The Agreement must be executed ahead of the scheduled system launch in September 2018. |
| Fiscal Impact: | An in-kind match in the amount of $46,400 will be committed using in-house staff salaries.
An Account will be set up at the time the acceptance of the grant award is approved by the Commissioners Court. |
