| Background: | On June 21, 2018, the District Judges of El Paso County, Texas held a public hearing in accordance with Texas Local Government Code 152.905 to consider comments made by the citizens of El Paso County and other interested parties concerning the amount of annual compensation of the county auditor and assistant auditors. Staffing positions were approved for the county auditor and 67 assistant auditors. Staffing positions for fiscal year 2019 as depicted in Exhibit A and C as submitted by the County Auditor. |
| Fiscal Impact: | The salaries of the Auditor and assistants are to be paid from El Paso County funds in the amount of $6,234,884. (Department 11080) |
