| Subject: | Approve amendment No. 41 to the County of El Paso’s 2017-2018 operating budget. This budgetary amendment will decrease Grants by $16,332.00 thus decreasing the County of El Paso’s 2017-2018 overall operating budget of $488,928,003.53 to $488,911,671.53. |

The County budget is being amended in accordance with Texas Local Government Code §111.0415.
Budget amendment is necessary:

To transfer appropriations from the Sheriff's Jail Annex division and the General and Administrative contingencies account to the Sheriff’s Office Detention division to cover the cost for professional services.

To transfer appropriations within the Sheriff’s Department to cover the cost for overtime expenses under the Jail Annex and Detention divisions.

To transfer appropriations from the Sheriff’s Jail Annex division to the Sheriff’s Detention division to cover the cost for contracted service expenses under the Sheriff’s Detention division up to year end.

To transfer appropriations within the Council of Judges department to cover the cost for the shortage on the Council of Judges temp pool for court coordinators and bailiffs.

To transfer appropriations within the Purchasing Department to cover the cost for salary and fringe expenses for the staffing changes approved on staffing change approval form 18.0054 approved on 06/11/2018.

To decrease budget for the Management Grant as approved by the granting agency.
