The Information Technology Department (ITD) manages and maintains structured cabling infrastructure for all County of El Paso facilities. ITD requires contractors to possess comprehensive skills, have knowledgeable resources, and maintain industry certifications in order to provide structured cabling services for data and voice installations.
The Purchasing Department has requested a cable drop for the mailroom at the County Courthouse and this requires cabling services to be performed in order to allow connectivity in that room. ITD recommends contracting with New IPS to complete this work on the Lower Level at the County Courthouse (500 E. San Antonio Ave).
Legal Review was required and completed by the County Attorney’s Office dated June 28, 2018 with no 1295 form required.
Procurement was reviewed and approved by the County Purchasing Department on June 25, 2018.
